In the Armed Forces of Ukraine - mass food poisoning of cadets
Cadets of the Kyiv Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information were hospitalized after complaining of abdominal pain and nausea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“On June 11, 2018, at about 08:30, cadets came to the sanitary unit of the Heroes of Krut Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization with complaints of abdominal pain and nausea. Most of those who asked for help were on leave the day before, June 10.06.2018, XNUMX, outside the educational institution,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
It is noted that the command of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization named after Heroes of Krut has taken a number of urgent measures. Everyone who applied to the medical center was provided with the necessary qualified medical care and placed in the infirmary.
“The head of the institute initiated an internal investigation to determine the causes of the incident. Leading specialists from the sanitary and epidemiological services, doctors from the National Military Medical Clinical Center “Main Military Clinical Hospital”, and the Central Directorate of the Military Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were involved in it,” the Armed Forces reported.
The press service added that at this time there is no trend toward an increase in morbidity among personnel, not a single serviceman needs hospitalization.
On Monday morning, about 50 VITI cadets filed complaints.
