Director of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture Igor Malozemov told PolitNavigator about this.
According to him, this initiative of the authorities is connected, in particular, with aesthetic considerations.
“We still plan to limit the number of floors in the city. You need to understand that the standards that are taken into account when dividing microdistricts for the improvement of multi-storey buildings and houses with 5-7 floors are the same. And the area of the territory will be approximately the same. This is shown by construction practice in other cities. We will develop a beautiful solution, because the neighborhood should be beautiful. People will live there,” Malozemov said.
Let us recall that the executive power of Sevastopol has repeatedly called for a fight against infill development in the city, linking this with the fact that developers for the most part do not take into account the load on city networks, do not take on part of the social burden, and also do not take into account the individual architectural and urban planning features of Sevastopol.
It is worth noting that Crimeans who visited the mainland are amazed by the scale of construction of multi-storey buildings in neighboring Krasnodar and Stavropol. No one here is bothered by giant 25-30 storey residential complexes; these two beautiful southern cities are very green.
