Sevastopol, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – A criminal case has been opened in Sevastopol regarding the death of a 5-year-old child, whom his parents left under the supervision of neighbors.

This was reported by the press service of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the region.

According to the department, on March 31, the body of a 5-year-old boy was found in the swimming pool of a private house located in the Sapun-Gora gardening community in the Nakhimovsky district. The investigation established that the child, while walking alone in the courtyard of the house, fell into a pool of water, was unable to get out and drowned. The child’s parents were at work at that time, leaving their son under the supervision of neighbors.

Currently, investigative actions are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
