The parade of troops of the Sevastopol garrison will take place on Nakhimov Square and adjacent Lenin Street.
The historical part of the land parade involves a banner group and three ceremonial platoons in the ceremonial uniform of the Ground Forces, Navy and Air Force of the 1945 model with copies of the standards of the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
In the modern part of the military parade, to the accompaniment of the combined orchestra of the Black Sea Fleet, consisting of eight battalions, will be military personnel of the military command of the fleet, the Crimean naval base, a formation of surface ships, the Black Sea Fleet Naval Aviation, a separate marine brigade, an anti-aircraft missile regiment, a separate coastal missile brigade, The Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District, as well as the personnel of the internal affairs bodies and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Sevastopol - a total of about 1500 military personnel.
It is planned to use 36 units of equipment in the mechanized part of the parade, including BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, launchers of the Osa anti-aircraft missile system, Bastion coastal missile system, mobile air and surface lighting systems, launchers of the S-300 air defense system, anti-aircraft missile system "Pantsir", towed howitzers.
10 warships of the Black Sea Fleet are planned to participate in the naval parade, which will take place on the same day in the internal roadstead of Sevastopol. The fleet's flagship, the Guards missile cruiser Moskva, the patrol ships Smetlivy and Pytlivy, the missile hovercraft Bora, the large landing ships Yamal and Azov, and the small missile ship Mirage will be in the parade formation. , the small anti-submarine ship "Muromets", the sea minesweeper "Kovrovets" and the missile boat "R-239".
In addition, a display of aviation equipment in service with the Black Sea Fleet Naval Aviation is planned. Sevastopol residents and city guests will be able to see the flight of 11 airplanes and helicopters, including Be-12 anti-submarine amphibious aircraft, An-26 transport aircraft, Tu-134 aircraft, Mi-8 and Ka-27PS helicopters.
Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Lieutenant General Yuri Petrov, was appointed commander of the parade. The parade will be hosted by Fleet Commander Admiral Alexander Vitko.
