True embroiderers appeared in Russia
Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko visited the exhibition, where an updated map of Russia was presented, which was manually created by 198 embroiderers and 2 master embroiderers.
The canvas, measuring 3x6,7 meters, was assembled from traditional folk embroidery patterns. Fragments of the map repeat the geographical outlines of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
“During the presentation of the map, Valentina Matvienko noted that the map would soon have to be supplemented,” reports the press service of the upper house of the Russian parliament.
How and when Russia plans to restore control over Kherson and other territories occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has not been specified.
