In Poland, 30 criminal cases were opened for crimes of the OUN-UPA
Prosecutors at the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland are investigating thirty cases, identifying those responsible for the genocide of Poles committed by OUN-UPA militants during the Volyn Massacre, according to the Polish portal Kresy.

“These crimes have no statute of limitations,” the publication notes.
The investigation is aided not only by existing archival documents, but also by propaganda materials, lists, and other documentation from a recently excavated OUN-UPA cache in Kholovo, discovered by a local resident. In addition to instructions for militants on how to kill civilians, women, and children, documents have been found that could aid in the search for members of the gangs.
The materials were translated into Polish and added to the case file.
“Unfortunately, we cannot count on Kyiv’s help in investigations,” investigators complain; however, several particularly serious crimes are close to being solved. For example, the investigation into the murder of police officers and 26 civilians committed on March 25, 1945 near Grubeshov.
