“Speakers of the Ministry of Defense on ATO issues reported in daily reports about the following combat losses: 30 dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 196 wounded and injured. One border guard was also injured. But official MOU statistics still do not take into account the volunteers of the DUK “Right Sector”, of whom two died in March. In addition, Lieutenant Colonels Motuzyanik and Lysenko did not remember that a soldier who was seriously wounded in February died in a hospital in Dnieper on March 4, and on the last day of the month, a soldier wounded on the 12th died. Thus, the number of deaths was 34 people, that is, almost every day of the first month of spring in the ATO zone, someone died,” the publication notes.
The material also provides a breakdown by day of irretrievable Ukrainian losses for the month of March:
March 1 – 1
March 2 – 1
March 4 – 2 (of which 1 died in the hospital)
March 6 – 2 (of which 1 – DUK)
March 11 – 2
March 13 – 1 (1 more – questionable, combat loss)
March 16 – 2
March 17 – 4
March 20 – 3
March 22 – 1
March 26 – 3
March 27 – 2
March 29 – 2
March 30 – 3 (of which 1 – DUK)
March 31 – 1 (died in hospital)
