The exercises involve about 40 thousand people, as well as about 1,5 thousand units of military and special equipment.

According to him, the exercises are taking place from April 2 to 10 under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister - Commander-in-Chief of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Viktor Zolotov.
“The topic of the exercise is the use of troops (forces) when the operational situation in the regions of the Russian Federation becomes difficult. The choice of topic is related to new threats to the internal security of the state and is directly determined by the federal law on internal troops,” noted Vasily Panchenkov.
