Ukrainian military expert Valentin Badrak stated this on the Espresso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is no military way. This needs to be understood, and those hotheads who are ready to go to Donbass, so to speak, to liberate it by military means, they must realize that in fact we have incomparable positions with Russia. Russia has been rearming all this time, having global ambitions. After 2008, after the campaign in Georgia, which was very problematic to a certain extent, Russia began military reform and took very serious steps, including towards the professionalization of the Russian army.
Russia has prepared a lot of opportunities through private military companies. All these issues have not been completely resolved... We will still need a cycle of 5-7 years, to overcome rearmament, then we can say something about the military aspect,” Badrak said.
