ISIS militant caught in Kyiv
The SBU reported on the detention in Kyiv of an internationally wanted militant of the terrorist organization ISIS, who had arrived in Ukraine illegally the day before in order to evade criminal punishment.
The press service of the SBU reports that on the territory of Ukraine, a foreigner joined an ethnic group involved in committing particularly serious crimes.
The issue of extraditing the militant is now being decided.
At the end of January, law enforcement officers conducted a search in a mosque in Kyiv, whose parishioners are the top members of the Majlis, banned in the Russian Federation, who fled to Ukraine. Based on the results of the check, 25 people who did not have documents with them were detained and taken away by bus.
