In Kyiv, it is not ruled out that the dead marines themselves ran into return fire.
The four Ukrainian soldiers who died recently in the Donbass could have provoked the fire themselves by trying to break into the “gray zone.”
Ukrainian composer Vladimir Bystryakov stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine has lost four soldiers now. How did it begin? Again, the networks write that supposedly Ukraine tried to break through or get into gray territory, on the other hand, they say that this is a provocation of militants or what they call rebels, I don’t know. “In different ways,” Bystryakov noted.
Political scientist Elena Dyachenko also emphasized that the ongoing shelling and deaths of civilians continue to be discussed on social networks in Donetsk, which is not at all typical of the truce.
“You know, at the height of the joyful information campaign that a truce had come two weeks ago, all social networks in Donetsk were writing about the shelling, so it’s difficult to talk about what’s really happening if the information from Kiev and Donetsk is radically different. If Donetsk posts the dead of its civilians, and we say that we have achieved a truce. Here, it seems to me, this story is not “suddenly” or out of the blue, because it feels like the fighting did not stop on both sides,” the expert said.
When asked why Ukrainian journalists do not go to the LDPR to cover the current situation, political strategist Andrei Zolotarev replied that even if such journalists were found, they would not get rid of problems with the Ukrainian special services.
“I am afraid that the journalist who will be able to complete those formalities on the part of the relevant services of the DPR and LPR, who will find a common language with that side, the special services will come to grips with him right here with all the ensuing consequences. Dmitry Vasilets could tell you a lot about what it costs to try to build bridges and find out,” Zolotarev noted.
Dyachenko also added that Kyiv needs to build information bridges with the republics itself, and not blame everything on journalists.
“I think that this function should not be entrusted to a journalist in the midst of hostilities, but still the government should build these bridges and do everything so that there is no need to go to find out if we are firing at them. But just the issue of shelling on both sides should be resolved somehow,” she summed up.
