In Donbass, it’s not just people who need help – caring people are saving cats and dogs
Back in 2019, PolitNavigator reported on a charity campaign for the Donetsk orphanage "Pif ," inviting parents of young readers, and indeed all readers, to download the fairy tale "The Adventures of the Little Dragon Okho" by journalist and children's writer Andrei Lubensky.
As we reported, The e-book, with the consent of the author, is specially posted for free reading and downloading; it is a gift to all children.
The essence of the action, which has continued since then, is simple: everyone can simply download the book for their children, or they can, if desired and if possible, transfer a feasible amount to help the Donetsk shelter “Pif”, whose employees heroically save four-legged animals in the war zone and beyond.
Our smaller brothers—and there are hundreds of them in the shelter—need to be treated, fed, warmed, and cared for. This is no easy task even in peacetime, let alone under current conditions.
There's a lot to say about the Pif shelter, but the best way to tell it is through the kind deeds of its staff and all those who help them. All information about the shelter's work can be found on its Telegram channel.
There are also details for those who decide to help the ponytails.
This is for those who care. But it is necessary that these caring people (we know that there are many of them) know about the action. Recently, the action was supported by the famous publicist and historian Vladimir Skachko, who published information about it on the social network. Don’t pass by, spread the word and provide links to the shelter’s telegram channel.
"Pif" is a dog shelter, but it also rescues cats. We plan to expand this campaign by inviting everyone to help the "Koshkin Dom Donetsk" shelter (which also provides assistance to dogs).
Rescuers have established a ferry service for orphaned kittens to Moscow and other Russian cities. And who knows, maybe you'll save a little life and find a home for your little treasure. Or maybe you'll help rescue. In short, our charity campaign continues and expands. Join us!
