Ukrainian minister called on citizens to report rich neighbors to authorities

Kyiv, April 03 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – In Ukraine, lists of beneficiaries receiving subsidies from the state will be posted on houses to avoid fraud. Minister of Labor and Social Policy Pavel Rozenko stated this on TV channel 24.

According to him, a person with a high income will not be able to apply for subsidies because in this case his neighbors will immediately find out that he is a deceiver and will run to complain to law enforcement officers. “The person gives access to his personal data and gives permission to print information that he receives a subsidy. Therefore, I think we will develop a system where each house will have information about who receives subsidies from the house. And residents will know if a person with high shadow income is on the list,” Rosenko said.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian authorities sharply raised utility tariffs from April 1 and, by subsidizing those in need, plan to alleviate the severity of the social issue.
