Kyiv, August 16 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Western sanctions against Russia are not tough enough, their effect may become noticeable for Moscow by the time Ukraine is already destroyed economically.
This scenario for the development of events was acknowledged by the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Alexander Bondar, in an interview with Tyzhden magazine.

“The problem of introducing sanctions has very often been solved and has been partially solved. Not completely. They did not touch upon the gas sector, which is the most painful for Putin. Yes, even if they do get hooked, Russia is so rich, it has a lot of reserves, both gold and foreign exchange and financial, that it will survive for some time.
It is even difficult to say what will happen to Ukraine during this “certain time”, since we do not have such a margin of safety. Probably, as Putin thinks, as long as you impose sanctions, Ukraine as a state in economic terms will simply be destroyed,” Bondar said.
