Ukrainians in three regions stole oil with tanks, crashing directly into the oil pipeline
Law enforcement officers blocked the large-scale theft of raw materials from oil pipelines in several regions of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press center of the Security Service.

“For several months, a group of criminals from different regions of Ukraine, using special equipment, made so-called “cuts” into oil pipelines in the Sumy, Chernihiv and Poltava regions. They pumped the products into tanker trucks and sold them for processing,” the report says.
It is noted that SBU officers detained three criminals in the Chernihiv region during an attempt to sell another batch of stolen oil.
Now two tank trucks with petroleum raw materials worth almost eight hundred thousand hryvnia have been seized, and places for “cut-ins” and storage of products have been established.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 5 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Urgent investigative and operational actions are ongoing to identify all persons involved in the transaction.
