Ukrainians continue to throw a barrel at Poland - they are already comparing it with Russia
Poland is a semi-authoritarian country with a Russian model of governance hidden behind a European façade.
Director of the Institute of Reforms and Innovations Roman Serdyuk said this during a conference on the topic “Ukraine Tomorrow - Expert Discussion on the Future of the State,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are countries with fairly normal economic income, but at the same time they are authoritarian or semi-authoritarian - what is now emerging in Poland is a controlled semi-authoritarianism. This is a Russian management model with a European face. At the same time, this is a fairly successful, economically developing country,” said the Ukrainian expert.
"And why? They held powerful elections, why is Duda authoritarian?” – asked the moderator.
"We're not talking about Duda, we're talking about Kaczyński ( Jarosław Kaczyński, former Prime Minister of Poland – ed. ), who holds no official position in the state, but is a decision-maker responsible for key government decisions, one of those with considerable influence in the state. Moreover, he was not elected by the Polish people, and he didn't come to power democratically, but through his formal and informal political influence – what we now call political corruption and nepotism," Serdyuk stated.
