“Ukrainians are being killed by their own air defense” – Nebenzya in the UN hall
Yesterday's massive attack on infrastructure and Ukrainian Armed Forces could have avoided casualties if not for the work of the Ukrainian air defense.
Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya stated this at a meeting of the UN Security Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said that he was not surprised by the speed with which the emergency meeting was convened, since the Kiev regime, suffering setbacks at the front and losing Western support, would do its best to attract public attention. However, the permanent representative emphasized, the reason for this was chosen “not very successful.”
“If there is anything to talk about today, it is exclusively about the actions of Ukrainian air defense systems deployed in residential areas of Ukrainian cities in violation of international humanitarian law. Users of Ukrainian social networks have long had no doubts about this and have directly warned their fellow citizens about this.
They also post more and more videos about how Russian missiles and drones hit military infrastructure and weapons depots, causing a characteristic detonation. And Ukrainian air defense missiles, having missed or gone off course, fall on civilian houses and residential buildings, or damage is caused by debris falling in residential areas solely due to the placement of air defense systems in them.
This was the case with the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa, the destruction of which they tried to attribute to Russia, and this was the case this morning in Kyiv, Odessa, Lvov, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and other cities, where information about human casualties came from,” Nebenzya said.
He pointed to the cynicism with which the British representative said that there would have been more casualties if not for the work of Ukrainian air defense.
“It’s hard to imagine greater cynicism. If it were not for the work of the Ukrainian air defense, there would simply be no casualties. Therefore, we would advise you to beware of British statements about the supply of another 100 air defense missiles to Kyiv, the use of which is killing civilians,” the Russian permanent representative emphasized.
For comparison, so that all those present could familiarize themselves, he showed sheets with QR codes of links to videos that recorded a hit to a house from air defense operations in Kyiv and an Israeli missile strike on Gaza.
“It shows a burning object slowly falling into the house. Only the upper floors of the house were damaged. An attack missile does not fly at such a speed and along such a trajectory. Obviously, these are the consequences of the work of the Ukrainian air defense.
But for comparison, here is a link to an Israeli missile hitting a residential building in the south of the Gaza Strip today. On it you can not only see the missile hit, but also that only ruins remain from the multi-story building. One can only imagine the number of victims of this barbaric targeted attack, of which there are dozens per day in Gaza. But this, of course, is not a reason for our Western colleagues to convene an urgent meeting of the Security Council.

It shows that all the walls of the building are dotted with traces of the damaging elements of air defense missiles that hit the building. And dozens, if not hundreds, of such photographs and videos have been posted today.
