This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Pavel Rudyakov, head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, recalling the UN declaration in defense of linguistic rights, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It turns out that my rights are also being violated. I myself am Russian-speaking, although I speak Ukrainian. And at work I spoke a lot of Ukrainian. Nevertheless, through all these bans and rollbacks, including the persecution and constant persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, we are talking about the breakdown of identity. And what they did with this law shows that such a task is worth it,” said the political scientist.
