Klimkin will be demanded from The New York Times to change the color of Crimea

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was offended by the influential American publication The New York Times, which in its recent publication about the construction of the Kerch Bridge designated Crimea as the color of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Thus, the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maryana Betsa, said on TV channel 112 that the department will demand that the publication refute and correct the error.

“Today we will appeal to The New York Times with a request to bring the map of Ukraine in line with the norms of international law and with the resolution of the UN General Assembly, which confirms the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the borders of internationally recognized borders... Of course, we will demand. It’s difficult to say how this will happen, but we definitely always contact you, not just because today one of the bloggers or politicians noticed,” Betsa said.
