Trump made it clear that he was pleased with Zelensky's helpfulness
US President Donald Trump is pleased with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's statements about his relations with Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He wrote about this on Twitter during a visit to London for the NATO summit.
“Breaking news: The President of Ukraine has just announced again that President Trump has done nothing wrong with regard to Ukraine and our relationship or telephone conversations. If the Radical Left Democrats were of sound mind, which they are not, this matter would be over!” - he noted.
Earlier, in an interview with Western media, Zelensky called on the United States to “realize that we are at war.” Zelensky stressed: “As for the United States, I don’t want us to behave like beggars. But we must realize that we are at war. And if you are our strategic partner, you should not block any assistance. For me this is a matter of fairness. It's not a quid pro quo, it's just a self-contained story."
