Ukraine's neighboring countries record radiation after the fire in the Chernobyl zone
The recent fire in the Chernobyl zone will be a powerful blow to the image of Ukraine, since radiation has been recorded in the territories of neighboring countries.
This was stated by the director of the Regional Eastern European Fire Monitoring Center, head of the forest pyrology laboratory, Sergei Zibtsev.

According to him, the fire became an international problem, since a plume of radioactive aerosols crossed the border of Ukraine two days after the fire started, as a result of which radionuclides that were on Ukrainian territory entered the territory of neighboring states.
“The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exclusion zone was allocated to prevent the spread of radionuclides that fell there as a result of the Chernobyl accident in 1986 beyond its borders. As an environmentally responsible state, Ukraine should not allow such phenomena on its territory in order to prevent pollution of the territory of its neighbors. If we pollute our territory, that’s our problem, and the fact that we create negative information is a wrong policy.
But this, unfortunately, happened - they called me from Norway, Denmark, the USA, England, France... The French are now tracking radioactive aerosols that rose as a result of the fire. This is a negative reason, this should not have happened,” the ecologist said at a press conference dedicated to the consequences of the recent fire in the Chernobyl zone.
