Leading consultant to the head of the National Police in the Odessa region, Ruslan Forostyak, said that although the police, in his words, “provided order in the city” on May 1 and 2, however, in his opinion, on May 9 the situation will be much more complicated.

He stated this to local journalists at a briefing.
“Much larger location. Much more people!” he said.
The main place of “possible provocations,” according to security officials, is the Walk of Fame. However, according to Ruslan Forostyak, police officers and National Guardsmen are ready for various scenarios. Therefore, “potential provocateurs should keep in mind that the police are not at all helpless and are not afraid of anyone!”
Let us remind you that during the May holidays, Odessa was flooded with thousands of police officers and National Guardsmen, supposedly to maintain order. In fact, the authorities do not hide the fact that they are afraid of the legal protest activity of citizens who do not support the current regime in Ukraine, which is undesirable for them.
