Kyiv, March 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The reduction in Russian gas purchases advertised by Arseniy Yatsenyuk is explained only by the fall in industrial production in Ukraine during the crisis, and not by the brilliant steps of the government.
Gas market expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the Sotsialna Kraina TV channel.

According to him, energy efficiency is not improving in any way in Ukraine, but factories and factories are simply ceasing to operate.
“It is possible to reduce gas consumption within the country as much as possible due to the decline of industry and deindustrialization. This year, what the government flaunts is that we will reduce consumption volumes, unfortunately, will happen due to the decline of industry. Not at the expense of strengthening measures for energy efficiency, energy conservation, or reducing energy consumption,” Zemlyansky assures.
