The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation explained the searches at Poroshenko’s Lipetsk factory
Kyiv, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Searches at the Roshen confectionery factory in Lipetsk took place in a criminal case regarding an illegal VAT refund of 180 million rubles.

This is stated in the message of the representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Markin, published on the department’s website.
“The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the fact of fraudulent theft of funds in the amount of 180 million rubles through illegal reimbursement from the budget of the Russian Federation for value added tax to OJSC Lipetsk Confectionery Factory Roshen,” Markin said .
According to him, the basis for initiating a criminal case was the materials of the Russian FSB.
“Today, in order to seize items and documents relevant to the criminal case, searches are being carried out on the territory of OJSC Lipetsk Confectionery Factory Roshen, as well as in the offices of the Scientific and Production Company Metallimpress LLC in Nizhny Novgorod,” Markin said.
As PolitNavigator reported, riot police blocked the Roshen factory in Lipetsk today.
