“Long live the Soviet people - the victorious people who broke the back of German fascism! - proclaimed the participants of the festive ceremony. – Let Soviet Ukraine live! Glory to the Red Army!” shouting over the official, mournful funeral chants that sounded from the speakers nearby.
To all these calls, as a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , people responded with approval and shouted in response: "Glory! Hurray!"
