Saakashvili will very quickly turn into Zelensky’s enemy
Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who came to Ukraine, will also quarrel with the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who Saakashvili returned his Ukrainian passport.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, whose opinion was quoted by Kommersant.

“Having returned to Ukraine, Mikheil Saakashvili will first subject Petro Poroshenko to merciless criticism and will do everything to reduce his rating in the parliamentary elections. And then he will repay the current president in the same coin as the previous one, for all the good that he does for him,” Gerashchenko believes.
Expert of the Russian International Affairs Council Alexander Gushchin agrees with this point of view.
“Knowing Saakashvili’s character, I think he will make many enemies in Zelensky’s circle. Knowing Saakashvili’s rather tense relationship with Kolomoisky and Arsen Avakov, who did not allow Petro Poroshenko to use his administrative resources in full during the elections, Zelensky is trying to show his independence by allowing such a person to return to the country,” Gushchin told the publication.
Let us recall that Saakashvili, who fled criminal prosecution in Georgia, was first treated favorably in Ukraine: he received a Ukrainian passport and became the governor of the Odessa region. But after his resignation, he went into opposition to the then President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, as a result of which he was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship and deported from the country with scandal.
