The Russians named Putin's main success and main failure
Vladimir Putin’s main success during his time in power was “the return of Russia to the status of a great, respected power.”
This is the opinion of 47% of participants in a sociological survey conducted by the Levada Center, recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation.
The main thing that the president failed to do was ensure fair distribution of income in the country. 45% of respondents think so.
Levada Center recalls that in January 2018, the majority (39%) of Russians believed that the newly elected president should first of all increase wages, pensions, benefits, the minimum wage and the cost of living.
In total, 1,6 thousand people from 136 settlements in 52 regions took part in the survey.
