Russia will cancel the special operation and officially declare war with all the ensuing consequences if Ukraine tries to send troops into its territory as before the start of the Northeast Military District, for example, in the Belgorod region or Crimea.
Military expert Dmitry Drozdenko stated this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“An attack on the very territory of the Russian Federation - specifically the Belgorod region or somewhere else - would be a completely different story internationally. The offensive will take place in one form or another because the West demands it. He is already demanding it officially, publicly, and Zelensky has no choice.
On the other hand, it is unclear whether Ukraine is fully ready for an offensive. Yes, a certain armored force has been assembled, about two or three brigades have Western equipment. There are some capabilities in aviation - we shouldn’t think that they don’t have aviation.
