Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Research of Regional Socio-Economic Systems of the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Shelomentsev stated this at the economic forum in the LPR.

“If young people study not in your higher educational institutions, but in Russian ones, there is very little chance that they will return. You need to create your own attractive conditions in this direction.
In Kazakhstan, we see the following situation: the Higher Attestation Commission has been closed, and the children cannot defend themselves. As a result, a whole layer of their youth dropped out. They come to us to defend themselves. Many of them then remain with us. Thus, Kazakhstan is losing its youth potential and educational potential. As a result, the basis for scientific potential is being undermined and reduced. As a result, there is no innovation. And innovation today is the basis of the competitiveness and development of any state. Don’t repeat the mistakes of Kazakhstan,” Shelomentsev urged.
