Russian Sevastopol has become a leader in industrial production growth
The growth of industrial production in Sevastopol in 2018 was 10 percent.
This was stated by the director of the department of economic development of the city government, Andrei Sanosyan, reports “New Sevastopol”.
“In the first half of the year, industrial production in the city increased – the index was 110% compared to the same period of the previous year,” Sanosyan said.
He clarified that this figure was mainly achieved due to the growth in the production of building materials.

“Construction enterprises and manufacturers of building materials have grown very seriously. The Balaklava Mining Department has grown very seriously. They significantly increased volumes, including through construction materials, in the first half of the year, and even more serious growth is expected in the second half of the year,” the director of the department emphasized.
Sanosyan added that the Southern Federal District on average demonstrated an increase in industrial production of 6,5%, and Sevastopol, with 10%, became a leader among other regions.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian experts are shocked by the rate of industrial production growth in Russian Crimea.
