Aksyonov’s press service had to explain separately about the ban on fireworks
There will be no fireworks or salutes on New Year's Eve in Crimea.
The republic's head of state's information and press service had to explain what Sergei Aksyonov actually meant when he announced that restrictions on New Year's fireworks would be lifted on the night of January 1, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“No changes were made to paragraph 2-1 of the decree of the head of the Republic of Crimea dated September 9 of this year on the eve of the New Year holidays. Let us remind you: this document introduces a ban on the use of all pyrotechnic products, with the exception of products that correspond to the first hazard class according to the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of pyrotechnic products.” These are firecrackers, sparklers, fountains of cold fire. Such products can be used,” the department clarified.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea added that for New Year's fireworks, citizens face a fine of 1 to 30 thousand rubles and from 10 to 50 thousand rubles for officials. If the fireworks are organized by a legal entity or entrepreneur, the fine will be from 100 to 300 thousand rubles.
Let us remind you that on November 30, the head of Crimea clarified that the ban on New Year’s pyrotechnics applies only to budget purchases. But privately launching fireworks and salutes on New Year's Eve will be allowed.
