Poroshenko mocks poor Ukrainians
The propaganda machine of Petro Poroshenko’s regime, which presented the anniversary of Ukraine’s visa-free travel with the EU as an unthinkable achievement, offended more than 60% of the country’s population below the poverty line.
The former head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Security and Defense Georgy Kryuchkov spoke about this during the “Right to Voice” program, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Over my long life, I have thought more and more about certain things. Who is leading us? Let's take a simple question: how much chatter has there been around visa-free travel? How did the president present this situation? He said: “This is a victory, this is a merit. If I wanted to, I drank a cup of excellent coffee in Bratislava or listened to an opera in Vienna.” You have to be an idiot or disrespect, neglect and hate your people!
Who rules us? What's on their mind? How can you lead a country like this when we officially have 60% of people or even more below the poverty line? How can you do all this? “I’m thinking about this more and more,” the ex-deputy noted.
