On May 9, Poroshenko again cursed Russia and praised Hitler’s accomplices
Petro Poroshenko, who came to power after the coup in Ukraine, in his speech on May 9, again cursed Russia and praised the UPA militants, whose collaboration with the Nazis was confirmed, among other things, by German sources.
Poroshenko spoke on the territory of the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War (after Euromaidan, the mention of “Great Patriotic War” was replaced by “World War II”).

“Yesterday here I announced a political decision: it is on this territory that we will create a Memorial Complex in memory of our defensive war with aggressive Russia. Together with the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, this will become a single Memorial of Ukrainian heroes,” Poroshenko said.
Then he once again moved on to promoting a falsified story glorifying the UPA militants, who, according to the current Ukrainian official interpretation, supposedly “fought Nazism”, but, in fact, worked closely with Nazi Germany, which is confirmed by German sources.
“Shoulder to shoulder, in the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine, who are now confronting Russian-terrorist troops in eastern Ukraine, stand the grandchildren and great-grandsons of participants in the Second World War, who were in the ranks of the Red Army, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, partisan detachments and defeated Nazism. This fact is a symbol of the connection between different generations,” Poroshenko said.
“We built up muscles and became stronger through extraordinary efforts. Having realized our history, traditions, common destiny, valiant past and good future, we defend our European choice. We will definitely win!” – assured the speaker.
