Poroshenko's situation is even worse than that of Yanukovych in 2014
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will not be able to remain in power even if he desperately wants to. This was reported on the PolitWera channel by journalist Andriy Vajra, who was forced to move from Kyiv to St. Petersburg after the victory of the Euromaidan, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, unlike his predecessor Viktor Yanukovych, Poroshenko does not have such support and will not be able to raise an uprising in his support.

“Poroshenko is simply doomed to leave, he just hasn’t realized it yet. No matter how much he resists, no matter what it is, he will be removed. If Yanukovych had been a little smarter, and had at least some masculine qualities, he would have been able to calmly remain in power, because he had support from the security forces and, by and large, he could have raised the Donbass if would appeal directly to the people. Many would have supported him, even those who did not like him - against the backdrop of those creatures who were replacing him, many would have come out to defend Yanukovych.
But Poroshenko doesn’t even have this opportunity, because no one will defend him. He has neither external support, which he has completely exhausted, nor internal support, the people hate him,” Vajra said.
