Kyiv, June 11 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Six hryvnia a day are received at checkpoints near Slavyansk by soldiers of the officially non-existent battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine, who picketed the Cabinet of Ministers building today.

“We were given a certificate that we were supposedly in the ATO zone,” the National Guardsmen told the Navigator correspondent. “But the fact is that we have still not been recognized as the First Reserve Battalion of the National Guard, although we have been promised this for three months now. The salary for business travelers is six hryvnia, it is issued as a bonus. Upon arrival at the unit, we received, roughly speaking, 2,6 thousand hryvnia.”
The fighters also confirmed that they were experiencing a shortage of body armor, the shortage of which was partially covered by sponsors. In addition, according to them, only sponsors supplied the unit with walkie-talkies, thermal imagers, night vision devices and binoculars.
