Ukraine's plans to organize a blackout in the LPR failed
Ukraine, under the pretext of a coal shortage, last night stopped supplies of electricity to the LPR, which were carried out from the Schastyenskaya Thermal Power Plant.

“Despite the expected blackout on the part of Ukraine, the Republic calmly switched to its electricity consumption regime. No emergencies or emergencies occurred. All enterprises of the Republic are operating in a calm operating mode,” the Luhansk Information Center quotes LPR Energy Minister Roman Kamyshov as saying.
The Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper predicts that the energy blockade of the LPR will have the same consequences as in Crimea - the region will simply switch to light supplies from Russia.
“If supplies were able to be established in Crimea, then there will be no problems with the LPR at all. Until now, Moscow did not want to do this, since it was bound by the Minsk agreements, but if Kyiv introduces an energy blockade of Donbass, it will have nothing else left,” the newspaper writes.
In turn, Ukrainian energy market expert Dmitry Marunich notes that the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Lugansk region will soon face a cessation of light supplies.
“After the LEO stops supplying electricity to the LPR, Lugansk Thermal Power Plant should be prepared. Probably, after burning the remaining 180 thousand tons of anthracite, only a miracle will provide the station with fuel. And electricity – the north of the region,” predicts Marunich.
