One place on two chairs: Turchynov, having headed the Security Council, is in no hurry to say goodbye to the mandate of a deputy
Kyiv, January 14 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The newly appointed Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov, having received considerable powers in the executive body, is in no hurry to resign his deputy mandate in the legislative body. The newspaper “Young Ukraine” writes about this in its latest issue.

Thus, Turchynov directly violates the legislation, the observance of which he was so concerned about when he took power into his own hands after Yanukovych fled.
“Those part-time deputies who do not have the courage to write statements... I will go to court so that the court will deprive them of their deputy mandate,” Turchynov said last spring.
“But, as we know, the point of view determines the angle of view. Having become the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexander Turchynov, so strict towards others, does not try to adhere to the requirements of the law. For the nth period of time, he has been combining the mandate of a deputy with his new position,” Young Ukraine is indignant and proposes to his coalition colleagues to forcibly deprive Turchynov of his mandate.
Perhaps Turchynov’s slowness is due to the fact that he realizes that he could easily lose his current position in the Security Council by decree of Petro Poroshenko, then being a deputy would guarantee him both a “reserve airfield” and immunity.
