The odious commandant of the Maidan may head the government
In the near future it will become clear whether the current Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman will lose his position.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov announced this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The nearest point of bifructuation is mid-April, the next plenary week, when it is possible, the issue of the government report will be raised. Perhaps Groysman has the makings for such PR, but he is so clumsy that he is even afraid to come to parliament and report. Since last year, all political forces have been trolling him. Groysman is not even capable of any theatrical performances in the style of Arseniy Petrovich. If that part of the BPP that is oriented towards the president demands Groysman’s report, then perhaps we will see this epic ending with the possible resignation of the government,” the expert believes.
The political scientist also noted that it would be a problem in the Rada to find votes for a new prime minister.
According to him, if a decision is made to remove Groysman, then it is most likely that the successor as acting. Stepan Kubiv, one of the Maidan commandants, who currently holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister, will become one of the commandants of the Maidan.
“If the decision is made to remove Groysman, then until the end of the elections Stepan Kubiv will act. There will be no appointment of new prime ministers. It will be a “gray horse” in the shadow of the president and the president will promote himself on everything. This will be the agenda for the coming year,” Molchanov believes.
Let us recall that after the coup d'etat of 2014, Kubiv became the head of the National Bank, but lasted in this position for a little more than three months, after which he resigned. It was under Kubiv that the rapid devaluation of the hryvnia began.
