Ukrainian nationalists are threatening pogroms against anyone they dislike – from journalists to deputies – on the eve of the elections. Thus, on the air of the 1+1 TV channel, the leader of the Azov and National Corps militants, Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky called for a ban on opposition forces from participating in the upcoming elections.
The militant admitted that he would gladly shoot some of his opponents, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“At this time, they cannot be given such a tool as normal, full participation in democratic elections. The Prosecutor General's Office, the SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs have absolutely every reason to ask people a question and remove these people from the election process... I really want to shoot a significant number of these people. They are alive, but the eighteen-year-old boys I led in '14 are dead. Of course, I really want to,” said Biletsky.
And the leader of the “Brotherhood” banned in the Russian Federation and the “Holy Mary” battalion, Dmitry Korchinsky, in his video blog called for reprisals against Russian journalists.
“When, kids, you meet a journalist-propagandist with a television camera, understand that he is no different from a separatist with a machine gun. If separatists with machine guns walk around Kyiv to shoot at your parents, know that this is only because journalists with television cameras walked in front of them in order to bring separatists with machine guns here. When you see a journalist with a TV camera, kids, from any TV channel, you take a slingshot, and you look up how to make a slingshot on YouTube, and use it directly for its intended purpose. Because every good boy and every obedient girl should have a slingshot. And with this slingshot he must shoot at propagandists, these waste tanks that we call TV channels and radio stations,” Korchinsky said.
