Navalny promised not to imprison the presenter of “Echo of Moscow” for Ukraine
Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny was forced to comment on the situation in Ukraine on the Ekho Moskvy radio station, since the presenter constantly cited this country as an example when it came to changing the political model in Russia to a parliamentary-presidential republic.

“We see the main reason why this does not work in Ukraine. The reason for the political failure is the oligarchs. In Ukraine, they control an even larger part of the economy than ours; they are more corrupt, corrupt and cynical than in Russia,” Navalny said.
At the same time, he several times expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that he had to comment on the situation in the neighboring country.
“You, just like Putin, want to bring some kind of Ukraine into our conversation. Right now Saakashvili is running through the streets. Why are you running around with this Ukraine?” Navalny grumbled, recalling how the Russian president compared him to the former president of Georgia.
When it came to his hypothetical presidency, Navalny still remembered Ukraine.
“If I want to put you in jail for dragging Ukraine into our conversation, then I won’t be able to do it, because there will be a fair trial,” the leading oppositionist “encouraged.”
