NATO and the EU will soon collapse, so Ukraine needs to build its own alliances with the Baltic and Black Sea countries, which will become an alternative to the Alliance. Ukrainian diplomat Yuriy Shcherbak stated this in an interview with the Den newspaper.

According to him, now all Ukraine’s hopes are for an alliance with Poland. However, Shcherbak chose not to mention the latest scandal due to the glorification of the OUN-UPA in Kyiv.

“We need to continue to move towards rapprochement with the Poles, because we will not create a Black Sea-Baltic arc, which in many ways can replace NATO. In my opinion, both the EU and NATO may fall apart. But there will be some other unions, other combinations of states. And the Poles will understand that unity with Ukraine must be cherished like the apple of their eye,” Shcherbak said.
