The people's deputy proposed expanding the borders of the "ARC" to "restorate" the Crimean parliament
The work of a “legal” Crimean parliament in Ukraine is possible with the annexation of part of the territory of the Kherson region to the “Autonomous Republic of Crimea”. Thus, this body will have the opportunity to govern the territory, part of which is controlled by Ukraine, says People’s Deputy of Ukraine Georgy Logvinsky (People’s Front faction).

He stated this to the online publication Krym.Realii , commenting on the holding of elections to local councils in Ukraine, including the "Verkhovna Rada of Crimea."
“But this provides for changes to the Constitution, because the Constitution establishes the borders of Crimea. And then we need to make changes to three more legislative acts. This is not an easy task, but it is not unrealistic. The main thing is that a dead organ is not created,” the people’s deputy said.
Deputy of the State Council of Crimea Sergei Shuvaynikov called this idea “the fruit of a sick fantasy” of Ukrainian deputies.
“Their rights and freedoms are not limited to Crimea. Therefore, they can consider anything. Let them consider holding elections in one of the states of America, for example, in Texas, or in one of the cities of Canada. Let them initiate a referendum there. It’s their right if they have nothing to do there,” Shuvainikov noted.
Let us recall that earlier the exiled head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, spoke about joining the “ARC” of part of the Kherson region.
