The National Corps called on Poroshenko not to disgrace himself and to remove the billboards with Putin

The far-right National Corps party has contacted Petro Poroshenko's headquarters and advertising agency owners regarding the use of images of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the current Ukrainian president's billboards, along with manipulative appeals that divide Ukrainian society, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“To presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko: stop agonizing! Dirty technologies of fear and the distribution of thousands of photographs of the enemy of Ukraine - Putin on your billboards and pages of election newspapers - is the worst idea of ​​your headquarters. Using the image of Putin is outright disrespectful towards Ukrainians, especially the families of the thousands who died during the Russian-Ukrainian war. This “creative” is your final defeat. Just stop and don’t disgrace yourself,” the appeal says.

The nationalists also called on the owners of advertising agencies, in case of pressure on them from Poroshenko’s headquarters, not to be afraid and to contact the National Corps.

“To advertising agencies and owners of advertising platforms: We ask you to respect Ukrainians and prevent the deepening of the split in society that is occurring through dirty political campaigning from the headquarters of presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko. We urge you to be resilient, patriotic and have a strong civic position - refuse such “advertising” orders. In case of arbitrary pressure on you from the authorities, please contact the headquarters of the National Corps in your region,” the message says.

Let us recall that earlier new billboards of Poroshenko and Putin caused a wave of indignation among users of Ukrainian social networks. Moreover, this time both supporters and opponents of the nationalists were united in their negative assessment.
