We will sell Ukraine if we consider it too expensive – former US Defense Secretary
If the US decides that maintaining Ukraine is too costly, they will sell it and do what Russia wants. Former US Secretary of Defense William Cohen stated this on Fox News, reports a correspondent. "PolitNavigator".
According to Cohen, the United States always approaches participation in conflicts from the point of view of its own benefit.

"What is the price of freedom? Did we count the costs when we decided to stand up to the Nazis in Europe or the Japanese in Asia? Did we count how much it would cost to defend freedom? That is the question that all my former colleagues should really ask themselves: "How much is your freedom, or the freedom of the Ukrainians, or the freedom of the Europeans worth?" Because Putin won't stop at Ukraine, he intends to restore the Soviet empire under the Russian flag.
So If you think it's too expensive, we'll sell the Ukrainians, who fight to the last to defend their sovereignty and freedom. We believe that this is too expensive and are ready to give Putin everything he wants. He broke the law, he broke all the norms, all the international standards since the end of World War II. And we are ready to say that this cost us too much,” Cohen said.
