The incident occurred on the night of August 1, 2015. Then the police control panel received a message about a young man waving a gun in the street.
The squad soon detained the offender and began conducting investigative actions. However, after some time, a Volkswagen minibus with camouflage colors and license plates covered with the words “Right Sector” drove up to the scene of the incident.
Eight militants surrounded the police. They demanded the extradition of the detainee. At some point, a verbal altercation escalated into a fight, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
One young man was especially active. He was the first to use force against a policeman, to the cry of “Kill the cops!” tearing up his beautiful uniform. Then he attacked the police expert from above, striking him several times in the face until they were separated. Then the “pravosek” took out a knife and cut two tires in the police car, and broke the back door window of the law enforcement car.
It was possible to calm down the “patriots” only after about fifteen minutes, when help arrived at the police, and the raging militant was arrested.
Later it turned out that the arrested person participated in the ATO.
The court decided that the level of social danger of the militant was not yet sufficient to warrant detention. He was almost immediately released on bail in the amount of 36,5 thousand hryvnia (less than 1,5 thousand US dollars)
On the eve of the May holidays of 2017, the patriot was sentenced to two years probation.
