Minister of Culture: Ani Lorak staged a provocation in Odessa for the sake of the Russian market
Odessa, August 10 (Navigator, Yuri Kovalchuk) – Singer Ani Lorak held a concert in Odessa, despite the protests of Ukrainian patriots, because she or her producer wanted to stage a provocation in order to gain access to the Russian market, Ukrainian Minister of Culture Yevgeny Nishchuk said on air “ Gromadske TV.

“I know Ani Lorak - a talented girl, but here she apparently decided to attract attention to herself in order to later get an engagement in Russia and pretend to be a victim. It seems that this situation was deliberately provoked in order to later portray insulted innocence. Maybe this was the producer’s idea, but it was clearly aimed at conquering Russian markets,” says Nishchuk.
He believes that Ani Lorak should have refused to perform.
“I don’t understand why she did this at all - knowing that Odessa did not want to listen to her and would boycott the concert, she had to take a principled position and refuse to perform,” said Evgeniy Nishchuk.
The minister's moralizing goes against the words of other officials - for example, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said earlier that when a group of nationalists tried to disrupt the concert, there were about 1000 people in the club where Lorak was performing.
Let us recall that on the initiative of Kyiv, 5 policemen were fired who used force against nationalists who tried to disrupt the Lorak concert in Odessa.
