Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko tried for a long time not to directly answer journalists’ questions about where she would spend her vacation.

“I will spend my holidays in Russia. I get bored sitting in one place for a long time. Several subjects are in my plans. It will be both the sea and the lowland,” Matvienko answered evasively.
Then journalists asked directly whether she would go to Crimea, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Well, they tortured me out. I'll go to Crimea. I’m announcing ahead of time – tomorrow the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will issue another note. I will definitely go, I really love the sea. I gave you a secret,” Matvienko said.
