Crimea is becoming less and less subsidized
Crimea's dependence on the federal budget is decreasing.
Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin stated this today, speaking at the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The dynamics that exist in budget indicators speaks volumes. This is something that can be measured. The growth in the income base that exists in Crimea is a double-digit growth rate every year. Economic development is underway, new jobs are appearing, new enterprises are opening, including thanks to the support instruments that are organized at the federal level,” Oreshkin said.
He emphasized that key infrastructure facilities, which are gradually being introduced, create a new quality of life.
“This is only the initial stage of Crimea’s development. We are now creating basic infrastructure: electricity, transport. We need to look further, go into the industry infrastructure,” Oreshkin said.
