Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated this in an interview with the French newspaper Libération , calling the conflict in Donbas a challenge "not only for Ukraine, but for all of Europe."
“You can’t hide your eyes. Take Crimea. Before its annexation by Russia in 2014, it was a large resort area. Now this is a military base that poses a threat not only to Ukraine, but to the whole world,” Groysman asserts. – This cannot be left unanswered. You need to understand that the border that our army protects is not the border of eastern Ukraine, but of Europe. There our armed forces are confronted by the Russian army, one of the strongest in the world. War poses an obvious problem.”
