Communist Party of the Russian Federation: Moscow mayoral elections will make us stronger for the next battles
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation views the upcoming mayoral elections in Moscow, which will take place on September 9, as an important stage in the struggle for a return to power throughout Russia.
Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) deputy Denis Parfenov made this statement during a conference in Moscow , where left-wing forces discussed participation in the Moscow mayoral elections and support for a single candidate, Vadim Kumin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our struggle is class, the struggle is irreconcilable and long-lasting. Those elections in which we now have to participate in one form or another, regardless of the result (I hope it will be victorious), we must understand that, entering this election campaign, we must all come out of it stronger, united, more prepared and experienced for the next political battles,” the deputy said.
“It is unlikely that it will be possible to conquer all power in the country with one cavalry charge; the power is still quite strong. But, if we consistently go to rallies, to mass events, spread propaganda, ensure that the people wake up, come out of the oblivion into which they were driven by propaganda, then you and I will have a chance for our country to once again justice, true democracy, and, ultimately, socialism triumphed,” Parfyonov added.
